I took some time off earlier this month to visit Vienna, Austria. I actually prefer traveling during the off-season to avoid the crowds. It was pretty cold, but I had a great time visiting lots of museums and galleries. It was a very fulfilling vacation.

Here are the updates for November. This month marks Lumina's 1st Anniversary, and I’ve also added a new feature (which is totally unrelated to the anniversary!). To update your theme, please refer to the help guide, “Update the Theme.”

A Smart "Back to Top" Button

I’ve added a "Back to Top" button to the bottom right of the screen.

This feature lets you easily jump back to the top of the page via a button in the bottom right corner. This is especially handy for creators with many artworks who tend to have long homepages.

However, having a button constantly floating on the screen can be annoying when you don't need it. So, I designed it to be smart. It appears only when both of the following conditions are met:

• You have scrolled down a certain amount (about one screen height or more).

• You show intent to go back up (by scrolling up slightly).

No settings are required. It will be enabled automatically when you update to the latest version. Please give it a try!

1st Anniversary of Illustfolio Lumina

It has been one year since the official release (v1.0.0) on November 18, 2024.

I can't say it's been a "massive" number of people... but I am truly happy that you are using it!

Since we're here, let's look back at the features added since v1.0.0:

• Improved Quick Preview: Images are now displayed larger.

• Dark Mode: Switch to a display that is easier on the eyes.

• Title Logo: Branding with your own logo image.

• Name Subtitle: Display an alias for your name.

• Cover Layout: Added new design options.

• Thumbnail Improvements: Auto-play for videos, icons for multiple images, and caption display.

I plan to keep polishing the features so you can create a portfolio that feels even more like "you". If you have any requests, please feel free to let me know (you can send them via the form in the Help Center).

Also, I want to reach more people with Lumina, but my reach alone isn't enough. If you like this theme, I would be incredibly happy if you could share it with your friends.
