Hi, this is Showkaku Sano. This is the first newsletter in 2026! I’ll keep working hard to make Lumina even better this year.

Here are the updates for January. the highlight of this month is a long-awaited feature! To update your theme, please refer to the help guide, “Update the Theme.”

Post Navigation

Finally, post navigation is here!

Previously, when you wanted to see next post in Quick Preview, you had to close the preview first. Now you can move between posts easily just clicking the arrow icons on the side (or on top for moblle).

On mobile, the arrow icons display on top.

When someone visit your site, you’d want them to see more of your work, right? This update makes that happen! It’s included automatically in the latest version. Give it a try!

Keyboard Shortcuts

Along with Post Navigation, I added keyboard shortcuts to make PC browsing even smoother. When you use Quick Preview, you can now do these:

  • Arrow keys (← / →): Move to the next/previous post

  • Esc key: Close the preview

  • Optimized internal scripts.

Server Migration: Done

Recently, I’ve been busy moving the Lumina’s official site and my personal website to a new server.

For my personal site, although the look hasn’t changed, I’ve complately rebuilt the engine with modern code. To put simply, it was like building a brand-new train car right next to a moving train, and swapping them before the passengers even noticed!

I’m happy to say there was zero downtime, and the transition was perfectly seamless.

Why go through all this trouble? The reason is simple: to cut down on unnecessary costs and maintenance, so I can focus 100% on improving Lumina.

I still have a few small things to clean up, but everything is going smoothly so far. Now that I’ve “lightened the load,“ I can develop even faster. Stay tuned for what’s coming next!
